All vents are produced from clear western red cedar that will last for many decades if properly sealed.  We recommend two coats of primer before painting to ensure proper sealing of the product.

This is a flush mount style, surface application.  The vent is placed directly on your wall sheathing with an opening cut out to allow for the vent air flow. Apply your siding next to the vent with proper caulking around the edges.

 

We uses only "A" clear western red cedar in all our products.  No knots, no checks or cracks!! All vents are completely dry and ready for your finish, either a clear finish or paint.
